Jacek Piotr Buczkowski was born on 14 January
1953 in Poznań, Poland. He graduated from the School
of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań with an
average mark of 4.8 (very good) from the course. He defended his master’s

1980.
In the years 1976-1980 he worked as a legal adviser and from 1980 to 1994 as an
independent legal counsel to the Polish Foreign Trade Chamber – the Poznań
International Fair. Since 1980 he has been working for companies with
foreign capital and enterprises owned by foreigners and Poles living
abroad (establishment and legal services). Since 1989 he has been running
his own legal counsel’s office, which now employs 6 lawyers.
Mr Jacek Buczkowski had his first,
then pioneer experiences in work for companies with
foreign capital in the 1980s. At that time, they were legal services for
companies owned by Poles living abroad and doing business in Poland. In
the 1990s he actively started introducing limited liability and joint
stock companies, both with foreign and Polish capital, onto the Polish
market. The trust and satisfaction of foreign clients resulted in the
entry of his office in the list of lawyer’s offices which are recommended
by the Embassy and Consulate of the Federal Republic of Germany in
Poland..
